Director of the Tourist Organization of Serbia, Marija Labović, said today that based on the information they have from tourist destinations, the interest in visiting our tourist centers during the Easter and May Day holidays is very high and that hotels in spas and mountains are between 90 and 95 percent full.

"When I say spas, I mean first of all Vrnjačka Banja, Sokobanja, Lukovska and Prolom Banja and Banja Koviljača, where the hotels are more or less full. Occupancy in the mountains is also good, such as Zlatibor, Kopaonik is also full according to their data occupancy is around 50 percent, but judging by how the reservations started, it is expected that occupancy for May Day will be even higher," Labović told Tanjug.

As particularly interesting, he states that this year there is a great interest in hotel accommodation, which is more interesting for many tourists than accommodation in private arrangements.



While domestic tourists most often choose to travel to spas and mountains, foreigners are most interested in visiting cities, mostly Belgrade, Novi Sad, Subotica, and Niš.
